These DIY holiday ornaments are a fantastic value for everything you get. It came with paint in individual pots, paint brushes, and ribbons for hanging. The packaging was phenomenal... all of the ornaments were bubble wrapped so we didn't experience any breakage. This is an excellent value for high quality ornaments. It would be perfect for a school party or classroom project.

The was fun for the kids (3 and 4) loved painting these little figures. They were engaged in it and only came over to show me their masterpiece. Normally they are running crazy, so for the money I might get a few more.

The plaster figures are easy to handle and have enough demarcation so that even small kids can see where they need to change colors. They will be proud of their creations and stay occupied for some time with this. The set also includes some sticky pads to attach the painted figures wherever you want when you're done painting them. overall i would definitely recommend this set for anyone looking to do painting with their kids.

This is a set that requires a little more work than other set because you actually have to make the items. Not great of impatient kids. Does require parental assistant because of the mixing of the mixture with water. Not the cleanest. What I do love about this kit is that you can definitely use with multiple kids around. The kids are not arguing over the same mould. The mould can be reused. You would definitely need more paint and brush for more children so they don’t have to share. Mould does take some time to dry. The children will have some time to do another mold or do anther activity to keep them busy while the mold dry before painting. Once painting, kids can use their imagination go freely.

This is an awesome little set, one of the coolest I have ever bought. It's really easy to mix the powder and water To make the little critters to paint. Once you pour the stuff into the molds, it starts setting really fast but won't dry out completely until 30 minutes has passed and then it's paint time! It comes with paint and paint brushes and magnets to hang the finished product! I 100% recommend

To do the conversation it's equal parts water to powder. I pour the water into the powder and use less water, can always add more if needed. But wet the mold as directed and these come out great. I did coat with a base white first to soak the paint into the plaster. Then me and my son used acrylic paint markers to paint the molds after they dry. Which only takes about an hour. I got this set for me as an adult but my 6 year old also loved it and helped me create molds and painted himself.

First of all, the kit makes some really cute shapes kids can paint. Older kids will find this kit a lot of fun because the process is more than just pulling out a molded figure and painting it. That's where the positives end for me. Here's the rest: The mixing and molding of the figures is messy, requires an adult, takes a lot of time and patience. I found an 8 year old loving the mixing and mess making of making the molded figures but then getting frustrated and bored while they dried. For round two of this kit I made one ahead so he could paint and then he started the kit process so I could give him a figure while the molded figures he made dried. Much better solution but incredible time consumption and double mess time. I cannot fault the kit for having us make the figures because it's in the description and it's on the package before we buy it. I deducted a start because the mold making seems misleading about the amount of adult work vs. kid ability and the time to dry, which creates some seriously frustrated kids unless they are the super patient type. This is more of a family project for a rainy day. While they are drying just know you'll need a time filler for most kids.

Ok so I admit it. I didn’t read the description enough to realize we had to make the little plaster pieces then paint them 😂😂 honestly for us that was a nice surprise as we enjoyed making them and being able to choose which ones we wanted and if we wanted multiple of any. I felt there’s not enough paint for good paint jobs on all the pieces but we have plenty of paint and wanted specific colors anyways so it worked for us. Overall we really love this kit and will get a couple more for gifting :)
